Welcome These pages was set up to provide word puzzles and word games with a difference. The difference being that the clues and answers in these vocabulary quizzes are in different languages. We hope that this simple resource can be effective and fun not only for spending time but also helpful in an educational manner. About our Puzzles
If
you already have familiarity with a language, you could test and
increase your vocabulary by playing our version of the traditional
favorite, “Hangman”
puzzles. For these puzzles, we provide an English word as the clue
and your task will be to find the translation in the given language. Or play our version of "Crosswords", another traditional favorite. In this Java-based puzzle, clues are words in a particular language and the answers are words in a different language. However,
if you just want something fun to pass your time with, why not try
our Java-based “WordFind”,
"JumbleWords"
or "Anagram
Crossword" word puzzles. They can be quite absorbing and a variety of puzzles in a
variety of languages are provided. More "pass your time" type word puzzle available are our Java-based "CodeWord" and "Fill-In" puzzles. They're quite enjoyable. Or if you wish to play a word puzzle with your friends, try our multiplayer game "Interactive Virtual Crossword".
